Forum vs. Wiki

Dwellgo is interested in enabling our community to get direct answers to tough Real Estate questions. Below are two options that we are considering. Can you help let us know which you would prefer?

Option 1: A Forum is an interactive way for the community to ask questions and receive answers to those specific questions. For example if you wanted to know the steps for selling a property, you could ask your question to the community.  Other users may provide individual answers to your post. Forums also allows users to search specific keywords and read previously posted questions and answers. A forum brings communities together around specific topics. (ex. Real Estate, cars, software, music).

Option 2: A Wiki on the other hand is a collection of webpages that allow anyone who accesses them to search and modify the information contained.

Instead of posting specific questions, you could simply search keywords and read posts that have already been published regarding steps for selling a property.

The best example of a wiki is wikipedia.com

Forums and wiki’s both allow the sharing of information, but in different formats.  We’re curious to hear your thoughts.  Which would you enjoy using to learn and share information with others around the topic of Real Estate in Central Texas?

We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
