Twitter is the next networking site that Dwellgo is involved with.  Twitter stops blabbers from blabbing by limiting users to 140 characters per tweet.  Therefore it allows you to build networking relationships effectively and efficiently.

Again Twitter is a community that anyone can join.  Some social media sites seem to be a time suck without benefit; I can sincerely say Twitter is not one of those.  Yes, time is needed to build relationships and maintain conversation, but the benefits from networking on Twitter are endless. To join Twitter simply go to Twitter and select the green box below, Get Started - Join!

Also, to give you an idea of how popular Twitter has become view the graph below. This poll was recently taken asking Twitter users “On average how many times a day do you check Twitter ?” Dwellgo actually fits in the within the 61%.

Just by searching Dwellgo, without signing in, you will see:

The fourth site to mention is VimeoVimeo is a site that allows you to upload and search videos that are longer than ten minutes, the allowed time on YouTube.  Dwellgo uses Vimeo to upload any videos taken at Town Hall meetings, educational videos, How to videos, and any interviews conducted.  Videos are going to become a big part of Dwellgo in 2009 so getting familiar with the site will help you stay abreast to what we are doing!!  Currently if you go to this link you will be able to watch the 5 videos taken our last Town Hall Meeting.  See below…

Linkedin is a social site more directed towards professionals and the occupational side of life. It’s easy to get an account and once you have one, you can connect with people all over the nation.  It’s primary objective is to enable users to build a following of those they’ve worked or interacted with, as well as a place to write and receive recommendations.  You can also post specific questions, answers, and even jobs.  Linkedin allows users to show their support for companies and organizations, by joining groups.  Dwellgo has created a group on Linkedin for Real Estate professionals and enthusiasts to reach others with shared knowledge in the Real Estate industry.
