How long have you been investing in Real Estate?
I have been investing in Austin for 5 years.
What made you create a buyer profile on Dwellgo?
Knowing Jay Otto, and his knowledge in Real Estate drew me to the site. But once there, I liked how wholesalers could find fixer-uppers and then if they wanted, they could turn around and put it back on the same site to sell.
What other than Properties draw you to Dwellgo?
I read Dwellgo’s Blog to keep up with different perspectives of the Real Estate world. I enjoy reading the articles about the current market and economic situation. What draws you to a specific property profile?
Location, location, location…Although I work throughout Austin, I prefer properties in the South.
Would you suggest Dwellgo to others and if so, why?
Yes, I do all the time. Whether they are buying to live, or looking for an investment property I suggest Dwellgo. I send people to Dwellgo all the time, for various reasons.

Hello Damon
Let’s Not Panic…
As the gloom and doom of the declining world economy continues it’s important that we keep good balance and perspective at the forefront of our thinking. Granted, every hour seems to bring deeper recession worries, every government report drives the DOW lower and every newspaper reveals another compromised professional business figure. I have to admit I never thought the whole world in unison would respond to an economic downturn as efficiently as we have. It feels like all 5 billion people on planet earth decided to quit spending money. Consequently virtually all sectors of the world economy are plummeting, in all parts of the world. We are hard pressed to find glimmers of hope anywhere.
Let’s not panic. Let’s remember nothing lasts forever. Let’s remember people tend to have short memories. As painful as it might be, given time, the economy will make the necessary adjustments to absorb inventories, cut fat, and refine business plans to better ensure predictable profit margins. We should emerge a stronger nation, with lessons hopefully learned. In the meantime there is something for each one of us in the downturn that we can learn about real estate, business, politics and most of all ourselves.
Cheer up, no need to panic, we are in some of the most interesting economic times of our lives. Keep the faith and take steps now to be prepared to buy when the time is right.

President Obama Outlines Foreclosure Plan Kathryn Glass
FOXBusiness
President Obama announced a sweeping plan to help stabilize housing prices and prevent further foreclosures, in Mesa, Ariz., on Wednesday.
The Homeowner Affordability Stability Plan includes several new initiatives designed to relieve struggling homeowners and stabilize housing prices nationwide.
The first component of the plan encourages refinancing by allowing four to five million “responsible” homeowners whose loans were owned or guaranteed by Fannie Mae (FNM: 0.563, -0.036, -6.01%) or Freddie Mac (FRE: 0.5676, -0.0224, -3.8%) to refinance their mortgages, reducing monthly payments.
President Obama addressed the need for broad refinancing efforts to prevent borrowers that are underwater in their loans from heading into foreclosure, stating, “…[W]e are not just helping homeowners at risk of falling over the edge, we are preventing their neighbors from being pulled over that edge too — as defaults and foreclosures contribute to sinking home values, failing local businesses, and lost jobs.”
